Wilson Russell

wilsonpic2wilsonpicWilson trained as a draughtsman before going on to study art and psychology in Edinburgh.   He worked for a time making stained glass but spent the following  years pursuing an interest and career in teaching and practicing  psychoanalysis with individuals and groups,  always retaining an interest in aesthetics and the  experience of being alive.  4 years ago he decided to stop all clinical practice and now works using ink and watercolour to find a new language to discover meaning through a “trialogue” between the expressiveness of the human body, the responsiveness of being open to that , and paper with the opportunity of making marks.

You can see some of his “marks” at  www.wilsondrawings .co.uk
